You know better than I

I was browsing through Corde's blog, and found this video, only to recall that I was actually singing this song on the way to uni this morning! I played the video...it was very touching. Here's my brief summary which totally does no justice to the actual video!

Joseph and a sorrowful look on his face.
A pathetic looking bare tree, fallen.

The tender heart moved.
A choice made, a stone laid.
And another.

The long journey continues
A little watering, another stone,
Hope births.

Bitter persecutions, unforgiving betrayals
Patience tests, sore trials,
Growth shines.

New heights
New glory
Life revived,
Trust secured.

I thought I did what's right
I thought I had the answers
I thought I choose the surest road
But that road brought me here

So I put up a fight
And told you how to help me
Now just when I have given up
The truth is coming clear

You know better then I
You know the way
I've let go, the need to know why
For You know better then I

If this has been a test

I cannot see the reason
But maybe knowing I don't know
is part of getting through
I try to do what's best
And faith has made it easy
To see the best thing I can do
Is put my trust in You

I saw one cloud and thought it was a sky
I saw bird and thought that I could follow
But it was You who taught that bird to fly
If I let You reach me
Will You teach me?

For You know better then I
You know the way
I've let go, the need to know why
I'll take what answers You supply
For You know better then I

I thought after going through the various challenges and obstacles in life, I've learnt the art of trusting God. How wrong I am though. After going through storms again and again, I realised that this weak tiny bird is still learning how to flap its wings frantically....almost giving up perhaps?

Pride undone, this eaglet is still learning how to fly, or rather, how to soar and let the Wind carry it! Daddy Eagle, I need You to carry me, my strength is gone!

Tendai encouraged me yesterday that God gives us each storm has a reason. Until I can confidently say with all joy and confidence to another that, 'God allows all things all things to happen for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose', I am yet to pass this test with flying colours.

Till then, I'm gonna walk by faith, neither by sight nor by feelings. His promise is sure. I am secure in Him, and He will never let me go.

My Romance

"I love you, O Lord, my strength."
Ps 18:1

"Teach me your way, O Lord,
and I will walk in your truth
Give me an undivided heart,
that I may fear your name."

Ps 86:11

Look at the way the flowers bloom for You
They want to show You their beauty Lord
Running waters dance
You and I romance

Unto You be all the glory
Unto You be all the glory

The angels dance around You
The earth it sings about You
Open up the heavens Lord
Let Your Kingdom come to earth

My praises all surround you
My soul can't dance without you
open up the heavens Lord
let Your kingdom come to earth

PURE BLISS

Every line comforts...Thank you, Sarah McLachlan

Spend all your time waiting for that second chance
For the break that will make it okay
There's always some reason to feel not good enough
And it's hard at the end of the day
I need some distraction, oh beautiful release
Memories seep from my veins
They may be empty and weightless, and maybe
I'll find some peace tonight

In the arms of an Angel,
fly away from here

From this dark, cold hotel room,
and the endlessness that you fear

You are pulled from the wreckage
of your silent reverie

You're in the arms of an Angel
may you find some comfort here

So tired of the straight line, and everywhere you turn
There's vultures and thieves at your back
The storm keeps on twisting, you keep on building the lies
That you make up for all that you lack
It don't make no difference, escaping one last time
It's easier to believe
In this sweet madness
oh this glorious sadness
That brings me to my knees

PURE BLISS
Oh, what indescribable joy would overwhelm me,
when I,
finally behold You,

shining brighter than the sun,
eyes blazing with fire,

voice of many waters,
calling my name.

Oh, what unutterable ecstasy would consume me,
when I,
not fall at your feet as though dead,
but RUN,
RUN, like a lost child who found her mum,
throw myself into Your arms,
into Your ams,
into Your arms,
Your very arms,
finally a reality?
Pure bliss.

Finally, Autumn Craziness!

Hello dear friends. Welcome to my massive Autumn Craziness Collection. My aim of uploading these pictures is to NOT only tell you how crazily in love I am with autumn, but to also promote my Lover's work of art. How can one not marvel at the work of His Hands?

I hope you don't just scroll down leisurely, but actually appreciate the uniqueness of each picture taken. I hope my time spent in uploading these pictures wouldn't be in vain. Here goes...

These were taken outside Stopford Building, where I attend lectures everyday.

Behind Whitworth Hall- the red leaves of the ivy (how to spell?) was strikingly awesome - sorry, running out of adjectives to describe beauty. =P Someone please help me!

I was walking along Oxford Road and turned into the junction opposite University Place. I couldn't stop taking pictures once I looked up!

This was when it got a bit crazy, or rather, I, got a bit crazy. weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee,AUTUMN LEAVES!!!!!! Note the different colours...amazing 'init'? (I learnt this from Charlotte - ie the way british people say isn't it)

Same place but buildings included this time to add more colour to autumn. =)

On the way to Whitworth Park, along Oxford Road outside Whitworth Art Gallery.

One sunny evening not long after I returned to Manchester after my summer break, I went for a run in Whitworth Park. It was refreshing spending time picking up leaves from the ground and staring at the trees. The trees were still rather green though. Later on in autumn, I went back to the park and snapped more pictures. Ah, breathtaking beauty.

Vernon Park, in Stockport. It was a beautiful evening and I was going wild inside when I saw these trees!!! =)
